I have really enjoyed writing this year, and I hope God allows me to continue into 2017!! All glory to God 🙂
So, you see, while Jesus may not have specifically said, “Thou shall not…” in a red letter edition of the New Testament, Jesus is God. Jesus and the Father are one. If you know and love Jesus, you know and love the Father. “But Jesus never said” is not an excuse for any sin, period.
As a parent, I want to give my son a great knowledge of the Bible, of morals and values, of being an honorable man full of integrity. “Things” are not important.
This is part five of a multi-part series for women on how to study the Bible on your own. You don’t need a book, a Bible study, or someone else’s opinion: you need a Bible and the Holy Spirit.
However…are you ready to die? I think that is a valid question everyone, whether they think they are a believer or not, needs to ask themselves. Are you confident that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb?
You’ve heard these verses, and read them on your own, countless times. How do you dig a little deeper?
I’m exhausted because, while I didn’t vote for any of the three major candidates, I know it is now my Christian responsibility to pray for the ones who won.
Now we have real work to do: the ordinary, every day, hard work of sanctification that bears the fruit of righteousness that affects those around us.
And please, don’t pretend you mean “oh my goodness” or “oh my gosh,” because, no, you don’t. This is slang for taking the Holy Creator God’s name in vain. Period.
