It’s very popular, I am gathering, to do a “year in review” type post on your blog. So here goes 🙂
I re-launched my blog early this year, transitioning from writing almost exclusively about adoption-related things to writing more about theology and living as a woman who follows Jesus. I learned, via Twitter, that the correct term is #Imputationist.
We left the Restoration Movement and the megachurch. Am I Reformed? I don’t know; I do know a number of systematic theologies are on my “to read” list for 2017.
I wrote a lot about theology, and my two most popular posts involved speaking the truth in love to fellow believers about the LGBTQ community. You can read the first one here and the most recent one here.
I read a lot of great books this year – not as many as I wanted, but still great ones. My favorite is Ordinary by Michael Horton. I am excited to read another one of his books, Core Christianity, soon, but you can read my review of Ordinary right here.
Satisfaction Through Christ welcomed me into their author circle, and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to write for Christie.
I was humbled to guest post for Michelle Lesley (squeeeee!).
I joined Twitter and connected with wonderful fellow believers from all over the world. One of them even prompted me to deal with my food issues!
And I feel like two of my best posts this year were these two discussing the lies women are told in women’s ministries and what women should be doing post-election.
I have really enjoyed writing this year, and I hope God allows me to continue into 2017!!
All glory to God 🙂
