Thank God, it’s vacation.
My hubby started his vacation yesterday at 8:45 am when he finally FINALLY made it home after a horrendous week.
Our water heater burst, to the tune of $800 for the installation of a new one.
The plumber had to return because one of the new pipes leaked.
We had to put our cat to sleep.
I found a nickel sized spider in my car.
I found a mouse in our kitchen. And in our son’s bed.
Keith had long runs every night and averaged five hours of sleep each day. That’s not great for a semi driver who drives at night.
The boy picked up on the stress and acted out.
I gave up and basically let him eat whatever he wanted and let him sleep in our bed every night.
We leave tomorrow morning for a solid week of camping.
I can’t wait. I don’t think I have ever needed vacation quite as much as I do right now.
