Monday Little Man will be 18 months old (young?). Tuesday will be his doc appointment, and I have fears they’re going to ask me things that I haven’t really kept track of. Like how many words he knows and uses in context.

Wow. That’s more than 60. I guess that’s good?

He also knows which sounds animals make:
Dog: woof woof
Duck: cack cack
Lion: rawr
Bear: rawr
Cow: Moo (except the cow at Chick Fil A, which rawrs?)
Deer: shoot!
Kitty: ow ow

And he can identify his nose, mouth, hands, feet, belly and penis (yes, I’m so proud. But we use real words around here, so I have no one to blame but myself!).

He’s also starting to show interest in the toilet. By that I mean he wants to play in it 🙂

But maybe that’s a start?

He is certainly wordy. He talks all. the. time.

Today he has fifth disease (we believe) and/or a growth spurt. He had a high fever yesterday, and he won’t sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time (the doc says she thinks it’s because he can’t get comfortable). If he has a rash, it’s too faint to see on his skin. But we’re going to try benadryl tonight (based on doc’s recommendation).
