MIA

I’ve been missing in action from the blogging world.

I’ve been enjoying being a mommy!!

Little Man’s big toothless grins melt my heart every day.

He’s rolling over from his tummy to his back. He’s rolled over the other way twice. Both times he then erupted in screams because he hates being on his tummy!

We’re still not sleeping through the night, but the doc says it’s not really normal to sleep through until 4 to 6 months. However, since finishing the antibiotic, he’s sleeping longer than 3 hour stretches.

We try to get out of the house at least once a day, either on a walk or to meet friends or simply run errands.

Frequently I find myself crying over him as I rock him or as we play together. I never thought I’d be a mommy – to spend this time with him is just priceless and I thank God for him every day.

So I haven’t been blogging much (well, I have numerous posts in my head!) because I’ve been living life!!

  1. Even though I always miss people, I LOVE it when new mamas go MIA for awhile after bringing home baby. You SHOULD be living life and soaking up every moment. We will be here when you get back!

  2. I feel you on the crying over him and thanking God – I think I'll be the same way when I become a mommy. What a true blessing you have in your arms.
